Met expectations
Great value
Standards-aligned
The activity kept students engaged while reviewing plotting points, identifying ordered pairs, and understanding how signs affect location on the coordinate plane. The directions were clear, and it worked perfectly for partner work or independent practice. I especially appreciated how it encouraged accuracy and attention to detail — students were much more invested than with a traditional worksheet! This is a solid, low-prep resource for reviewing coordinate plane skills in middle school math. Highly recommend!

Understand a rational number as a point on the number line. Extend number line diagrams and coordinate axes familiar from previous grades to represent points on the line and in the plane with negative number coordinates.
Understand signs of numbers in ordered pairs as indicating locations in quadrants of the coordinate plane; recognize that when two ordered pairs differ only by signs, the locations of the points are related by reflections across one or both axes.
