This bundle of THREE Coordinate Planes Teaching Slides and Task Cards products will give your math students the direct instruction, modeling, and practice that they need in order to be successful with understanding and identifying coordinate planes and ordered pairs in the First Quadrant.

What's Included? Three products are included in the bundle:

Teaching slides are included with each set to help guide students through a gradual release of instruction, which include "learn about it" slides, "guided practice" slides, and "your turn" slides. Students will be engaged with identifying the locations of the ordered pairs of themed images. Included in each product are 15 task cards, both full-screen for whole group or small group practice, and card-sized are included as well for partner work or individuals moving around the room with posted cards around the room. Answer keys are included throughout and a recording sheet is included for the task cards. BOTH PDF & Google Slides format are included - you will receive a hyperlink to a forced copy included in your purchase. GRADUAL RELEASE OF INSTRUCTION TEACHING SLIDES:

• Learn About It: use these slides to directly teach about the coordinate plane, the x-axis, the y-axis, and ordered pairs
• Guided Practice: Work together as a class to identify the location of provided images or identify where an image should go based off of the ordered pair
• Your Turn! : Students have a chance to work independently in identifying ordered pairs and placing images in correct locations on different templates

Then, work in small groups or have students work in partners or individually using the 15 task cards.
