CORE WORD PLAY (Car Version) is an interactive Powerpoint Activity that targets the following core words: go, stop, fast, slow, up, down, in, out. When the core word button is activated, the car will perform an action on the slide. This activity is highly engaging.

Suggested use:

While running the slide show, encourage your client to activate the last icon on odd number slides in order to make the car move. If the client has a dedicated communication device, encourage them to activate the icon on their device and then you or the client can activate the icon in the slide.

For emergent learners especially, it is recommended that the modeling be provided either on the client’s device or on the slides.
