Description

Number sense is the building block of the kindergarten curriculum. These Count, Build, and Cover mats are a perfect way to reinforce number recognition.

The only supplies that are needed are these mats and Unifix cubes.

To prepare the math mats, print, and laminate the mats. You can also slide them in page protectors. Each student will need a math game board and some plastic math cubes.

Students will count the feathers, hearts, seeds, etc. in each box, build a tower with the corresponding number and cover it! They can continue to play until all spaces on the mat have been covered.

Included are numbers, tally marks, and other seasonal mats (hearts, turkeys,& pumpkins)!
