This is a simple counting activity. Print, cut apart, and laminate the cards. There are three ways to use this activity. 1. Provide the children with a dry erase marker and have them count the items on the card and write their answer on the apple. 2. Place the cards around the room. When a card is found have the child count the items and write how many next to the matching picture on their recording sheet. 3. Place the cards in your math center. The child will pick a card, count the items, and write how many next to the picture on their recording sheets. Numbers used in this unit are 1-5. You can see the whole unit in the thumbnails.
