The foundations are pivotal in math. It's vital students understand how to order numbers and read/write/verbalize numbers. This resource, designed for 1st graders, allows students to practice counting individually, with a partner, in small groups, in a center with a teacher, as well as at home. In one activity the students practice counting forward from a given number. In another one, they have to place the numbers in numerical order. There is also a resource with stations so they can also be differentiated based on the needs of the students.
