Counting Base Ten Blocks: Task Cards, Graphic Organizer, Reference Sheets, Visuals

This resource is perfect for any general education or special education because it makes differentiation easy. Any student at any level can participate in this activity with the supports included. Base ten blocks appear in different orders on the cards (i.e one card may have hundreds on the left, another might have ones on the left) in order to increase understanding of blocks, as opposed to rote memorization of order.

This Resource Includes

  • 24 Task Cards with Base Ten Blocks (3 challenge cards with regrouping)
  • 2 Answer Recording Sheets
    • 1 With Blank Boxes
    • 1 With Place Value Charts For Each Question
  • 2 Desk Visuals (Can be taped to student desks for future use, and or carried around to complete the task)
    • 1 With Base Ten Block Reference Sheet
    • 1 With Base Ten Blocks Reference and Place Value Chart
