Counting Bears Patterns
Share

Description

This resource features the counting bears used in most schools. I used this resource myself for laminating and then putting out on my Maths table with a selection of counting bears.

There are 9 different patterns.

This helped my children to understand patterns as they were copying the patterns on the laminated bear cards.

This resource is created on PowerPoint 2007, and you can therefore easily edit if you wish.

I loved that these printed out the exact size of the counting bears. I have small and large, which this did not have, so I printed off a sheet and copied it at reduced size and made my own pattern cards incorporating in the small bear size, so patterns can be large yellow, small yellow, large yellow, small yellow, etc. I also wished there were some patterns that had something like blue, blue, red, blue, blue, red. However, you can copy more bears, cut them out, and make your own pattern cards. The possibilities are endless when you do that. The bears were cute with good detail to be exactly like the bears we have.
