About the store

I started my career as a K-12 substitute in NS before moving along and finding teaching positions in the rest of the country, first on a Cree Reserve in Manitoba, and then on a Metis Settlement in Saskatchewan. I have also taught in a religious private school. Through these 3 positions, I have taught grades 1 through 3, and find that my passion lies in grade 1! I look forward to where the winds take me next.

I graduated high school all the way back in 1998, from PAHS in Dartmouth. GO PANTHERS! I next attended SMU in Halifax for my undergraduate degree in English and History in 2002. GO HUSKY'S! It's a highly competitive market to get into Education in the region, so I crossed the border to attend UMPI in Presque Isle, Maine to receive my credits for Education Certification in 2004. GO OWLS! Someday in the next few years I'd like to upgrade, but there are too many choices, so I'm waiting until I"m sure.
