Learn count coins, write with dollars and cents, and understand word problems with money with engaging, hands-on task cards that can be used in so many different ways!

This is one set of common-core-aligned math task cards for second grade. This set has 20 different cards, a recording sheet for students, and an answer key!

Teaching suggestion: choose to use the recording sheet, or, go paperless and allow students to quiz each other, work in teams to complete the cards quickly and accurately, or have students work on their own in a quiet activity.

I love this set of math cards. Money is such a hard concept for students to grasp (especially throwing in adding money)! My students will love using them during their math tub time. Thanks!
