This engaging activity is designed to increase number fluency. Students pick a colorful card and follow the directions to count from a starting number to a specific ending number. (An example of the Counting Forward Task Card: Start counting at 85. Stop counting at 97. An example of the Counting Backwards Task Card: Start counting backwards from 80. Stop counting at 68.)
This Counting Forward and Counting Backwards Task Card Bundle includes the following two task card sets:
Print the cards on heavy card stock and laminate for a reusable resource. This can be used as a whole group or center activity.
This pdf file contains 176 task cards. I have included blank cards so you can add numbers to meet the needs of your students.
