Description

Counting mixed combinations of coins can be very challenging! This enrichment set of differentiated riddles & activities for US coin combinations through $1.00 will help your students master pennies, nickels. dimes, & quarters in a fun and effective way!

These games and activities can be purchased separately, but you'll save when you buy them in this bundle!

What activities are included in this enrichment bundle for counting coins?

* 48 superhero riddle cards supply your students with nine options for answers, with each new clue eliminating one or more of the options.

* 24 Lucky Coin riddle cards provide eight options for answers. These riddles are great for March or any time of year, since there is no specific mention of St. Patrick's Day, only a shamrock on the coin graphic. This set also includes a full-page format, to make it easy for you to demonstrate on your interactive board.

* For greater challenge, try the 48 additional riddle cards that give your students clues but do not supply possible answers. Less scaffolding for your more independent learners!

What else does this bundle include?

* A 120 chart for extra support (more differentiation!)

* Two board games for more coin practice

* Templates for your students to write their own coin riddles

* Challenge or accountability page

* Recording pages and answer keys for all of the riddle sets

How can you use these activities?

* Classroom teachers love these for math centers and math rotations.

* Math specialists, math coaches, and math intervention teachers use these one on one or with small groups, as a fun and effective way to practice math vocabulary, critical thinking, and mental math.

* Start a lesson by solving a riddle together. It's a great way to focus attention or to start math conversations!

* Great for early finishers or challenge work in second grade or remediation RtI in third and fourth grade.

* Try a card or two for a daily number talk with built-in spiral review!
