This resource comes with TWO VERSIONS! One with simple coins that show their denomination. Along with another version that has realistic coins. The first one provides more scaffolding since it provides the denomination. The second one is for students that don't need that scaffolding and can associate the denomination with the coin's faces. You get BOTH VERSIONS in Google Slide, Seesaw, and PowerPoint!

WHY USE THIS GOOGLE SLIDE, SEESAW, AND POWERPOINT RESOURCE?

This resource eliminates the need for paperwork and prep by having students practice phonics using Google Classroom or Seesaw on Chromebooks, or PC

These resources are provided in three different formats (all are included):

  • PowerPoint file for iPad and Microsoft Teams
  • Seesaw format with a link to add it directly to your Seesaw account
  • Google Slides format to add to your Google Drive for Google Classroom

Students are able to show understanding in the math concept and their work can be saved directly in Google Drive so you can go into your Google Classroom grades and check what the student did in their Google Slide! Great for assessing for understanding!

HOW IT WORKS

  • Assign students the provided Google Slide, Seesaw, or PowerPoint (all included) through Google Classroom, Seesaw, AirDrop for iOS, etc.
  • There are 20 total slides with 20 problems.
  • Each slide details what students need to do.
  • Students drag and drop math symbols to solve the problem.
  • Answer Keys are provided for student correction in form of a PDF of 20 pages.

INCLUDED FOR THE TEACHER

  • Instructions on how to access the file and make a copy for your Google Drive.
  • Links provided for easy access using Google Drive and Seesaw. Click the links provided for the resource and it's in your library!
  • How to setup Google Classroom and push the file to your students as an assignment using Chromebooks, PCs, or Macs.
  • Video tutorials on how to send assignment through Google Classroom to your students

I used the Google slides and my students really enjoyed it! I liked that it had two types of coins for the lessons (circle with amount, cartoon drawing of coin). I ended up adding some pictures of what real coins look like so they can use all the different ways to recognize money too. Overall great product!
