These Counting Money Math Games are a great way to give teachers a way to provide hands on activities that meet the needs of all students. Work on counting money to a dollar with these six different puzzle options.

INTERESTED IN SAVING SOME MONEY? Check out the 2nd Grade Math Magic Square Puzzle BUNDLE that is over 75% off! ❤️⏳

These six Magic Square puzzles have students practice matching coin pictures to the correct money amount in cent form. The amounts students will have to match are 1¢ through 50¢ and amounts 51¢, 52¢, 53¢, 55¢, 65¢, 75¢, 76¢, and 100¢.

There are two versions of each puzzle – one has money values around the outside edges while the other does not. This will allow you to differentiate to best meet your students’ needs!

**Students will have to recognize both the front and back of the coins, as they are used interchangeably!**

Please note that the graphics are NOT proportionate! Dimes may appear the same size as pennies. Students will need to recognize the look of the coin, not the size.

**These work best when printed in color so you can easily check finished work. However, they will also work when printed in black and white, but students may have a little more trouble since the penny will not be the right color.

Although I don't teach money in 4th grade, it's a great review. I love that these cards include the front and the back of coins as an added challenge.

I used this to review counting money with my fifth grades. They enjoyed the added challenge of putting it together like a puzzle.

My students love these activities. The puzzles help to work on perseverance and a good alternative to paper/pencil tasks. I have the students map their finished puzzle on a half-sheet form.
