Use the counting sequence of ones flexibly

Students:

▪ identify the number before as 'one less' and the number after as 'one more' than a given number


✏️ This 'Counting - One More One Less Math Center set/activity can be used all year long for preschool, Kindergarten up to Year 2 students! Students enjoy using the manipulative ideas and recording sheets and repeated practice in small groups and center time throughout the year gives them tons of opportunities to practice this very important number sense skill.

This 18-page math resource pack contains the following:

One More One Less Games for the following themes;

Llamas
Gumball

Butterfly

✏️ This activity can be used in a structured game rotation program, as an independent worksheet, formative/diagnostic/pre-assessment or as a math centre or in guided math. Once taught, it also makes for fantastic 'fast-finisher' activities for the revision of key Representing Whole Numbers (numbers before/after, one more and less) concepts.
