These multi functional counting cards can be used by pupils with wide range of learning needs and abilities. Early active numeracy skills will be developed through adding and matching counters onto the spots, I use clothes pegs with my learning with additional needs and they clip these onto the cards as a visual reference, it also increases their fine motor and 1:1 correspondence skills.

These can be used as independent activities or in pupils work boxes.

Learning outcomes can be differentiated to include basic counting skills, 1:1 correspondence, odd/even number recognition and recognising numbers before and after the sequence.
