Description
This set of Country Research Posters includes 4 different variations all formatted on 8.5” by 14” paper(legal) The larger size makes it feel like a special project and kids are excited to search for the information to complete the posters. 3 of the options fit on one poster, while the fourth option includes two posters of research questions.
Each format can be used for any country of your student’s choosing. Purchase once and use these posters again and again.
Two of the posters include basic facts of the country, country flag and meaning, and native plants and animals. One of them is more basic(1st, 2nd grade) than the other(3rd thru 5th)
The third poster has some map work and delves into biomes and native plants and animals.
The fourth and fifth poster comprise a travel research project that covers transportation to, from, and around the country, weather, tourist attractions, local foods, and map work.
A good atlas and or encyclopedia should be all students need to complete the work.
Great for your social studies curriculum, family homework and early finishers, too. Use these at home for extra enrichment any time of the year.
Little or no prep needed. Each format is intended to serve as a simple research project for students to learn basic information about a country.

A very helpful resource for social in my classroom although the Grade Twos found it a little difficult.
Thanks for the feedback. I often start the year off completing these together in a big group for the kids to get the hang of it and then pair up kids who need help. Probably a bit hard to do during Covid. ; ) Hope you are hanging in there during these tough times.
My 3rd grade students enjoyed this country research report a lot! The posters are well designed. They had fun researching and learning about their home country as well as other places around the world!
easy to use
