This project is pretty simple to implement. The students simply choose a county in their state to research and create a float to represent the history of it.Every student has a different county to complete. The culminating activity is a county float parade. Included in this project is project examples, project instructions, county report printable, and rubric. Everything you need for fun and easy project is included!

Loved this resource! The floats turned out great! The kids learned a lot about the county that they researched. I also like the county website that was included.
I used this with my hybrid class and most of my students did a fabulous job! I did need to assist them with some of the research questions but overall they were creative and informative projects.
This was a fun way for my students to create a WI county float during school closures and provided a change in daily routine.
This is a keeper project! Thank you for doing the organization work!
