This lesson and activity can be used to teach about the fundamentals of DNA, base pairing and proteins for any secondary year level. This activity has worked well with year 7 students who have a good background understanding of DNA, but has also been successful with year 11/12 Biology students as a practical activity to solidify their understanding.
