We were doing a unit on Fast Food and Its Impact on America in my reading intervention class. Students were able to be creative and work independently on the assignment. In addition to completing the presentation, they presented it to their classmates so they were working on the speaking and listening standards for ELA.
I assigned this as an optional activity for early finishers. It turns out the students are loving this project. They are showing their creativity and all students (not just the early finishers) are wanting to complete it.
