This activity helps your students learn which organelles belong in an animal cell or a plant cell. The students work in pairs or alone to create their own cell model using the handout and contact paper. The Handout contains instructions, drawings of organelles, labels and a grading rubric. Can be used with elementary students and can be the beginning of a much larger project for high school students.
