This cross-curricular math and writing project allows students to create their own restaurant menu using decimal operations for pricing and sensory writing for item descriptions. Students plan a full menu, assign prices with decimal values, and apply decimal computation skills in realistic, meaningful contexts. Then, they switch to the writing process to craft mouth-watering descriptions using sensory and precise word choice.
