Want a creative, flexible project that will excite students? Show them this simple process of making comics from real life photos!

This is the recently updated edition of the resources I've shared with hundreds of teachers. It's guaranteed to supercharge the creativity in your classroom!

You and your students can create comics from real life photos (or other pictures) for free using G Suite tools like Google Slides or Google Drawings.

These comics can be an excellent way to present information in any subject and in almost any grade level. Even young students will be able to modify comic templates you can easily create.

With pictures and several video tutorials, this booklet will show you everything you need to know. It highlights several final product options too, such as ebooks and videos.

I include links to documents for an introductory project you can give students to introduce them to the process. You can use it as-is or modify it to fit your needs.

Other things you'll find in the book:

-Essential tips and tricks for making comics easy to follow

-A suggested rubric for scoring the final projects

-Links to examples of the projects

-Ideas for other classroom activities.that use the comic creation process

Note that the duration of this project will depend on what you require for a final product. Students can create a simple comic in under an hour, but a long comic in the form of a video would take a lot longer.

My students are always looking for ways to create comics. Most times they can't use comic websites because they cost $. The students will be able to use their G Suite accounts to create their own comics for any of their classes. Great resource!
