You’ve taught your 3rd graders the basics of how to edit the text and graphics on computer-generated documents. But they need to practice those skills! This unit — “Creating Documents for 3rd Grader” — gives you a brief teaching manual and five assignments that will help them practice. The unit also provides examples of completed projects, with assigned point values, to help you in grading their work. These projects can be completed in class or be used as distance-learning homework. Although the student assignments are created for Apple’s Pages application, they can be adapted to Microsoft’s Word application. The unit is available as a PDF for easy downloading.
