Need an easy way for your students to work on producing compound and complex sentences? Then check out this fun, NO PREP packet! Many of our students with special education needs speak or write in simple sentences. This product will help your students expand their ability to speak and write using higher level language skills.
In this product, you will receive BOTH color and B&W versions of all visuals and worksheets. Begin by using the visuals to teach students about compound and complex sentences, conjunctions, as well as subordinating and coordinating conjunctions. Then, work your way through the different levels of worksheets. After writing, have the student practice saying the sentences out loud.
In each packet, there are 25 pages for each level, each with a different picture. In Level 1 worksheets, half of the sentence is provided and the student must fill in the rest. In Level 2 worksheets, the conjunctions are provided and students must fill in both parts of the sentence. In Level 3 worksheets, the student must select a conjunction and independently create a compound or complex sentence.
