Description
Label, plot, analyze and review/assess. This Distance Time Graph Practice is perfect to practice with your students and show them how to complete a Distance/Time Graph from beginning to end. You can use this activity to either guide your students step by step, have students work independently or start on it with them and then walk around as they complete the rest. Either way it is a great fun activity for the kids. Students will first label their graphs by naming and numbering their X and Y axis on the graph. From there they will plot the points and connect the lines for each racer. After they complete the graph they can label what is happening with each racer. Ex. constant speed, decreasing speed, stationary or going backwards just to name a few. I have also included an already completed graph as an answer key and a check for understanding page which can be used as a review or a graded assignment.
