Impress your students with this fun computer activity! Students will plan their own Thanksgiving Menu while learning how to use the Format Painter to quickly format text in multiple areas of a document. The Format Painter is a formatting feature many people do not use often enough. This lesson is a great way to teach the Format Painter while looking forward to a great Thanksgiving meal! Includes 2-page step-by-step directions activity handout, Thanksgiving Foods list, sample of completed menu.

Uses: Computer Lab, Classrooms with 1:1 Devices, Distance Learning, Center Activities, Sub Activity

Very easy to do and a great activity for the days before Thanksgiving break. My students knew how to use Word so I just removed that part.
