Creative AI GPT Short Story Prompts - Lesson 3: Paragraph/Section Revisions A
Share

Description

A more creative way to use the AI chat is to set up a prompt session that has the AI systematically generate ideas from the human writers mind.  Then have it format and structure the paragraphs of the story.  You can also use AI to research similar tropes, themes, and even plot points for inspiration. But ultimately, one has to change these with one's own ideas.

Lesson 3 builds on Lessons 1 and 2 in this series (see bundle) in order to take a student created short story, assisted with AI, and go through each plot point related paragraph to enhance the story with AI prompts in order to:

1) Enhance description of setting and character in the introductory background of a story

2) Enhance setting and character description with literary language suggestions

The important and ETHICAL aspects of these prompts lies in the following wording:

You are a literary agent.  You are not the writer or author. Do not provide me with literary or story examples.  Simply state suggestions about topics or ideas that I could use like a coach would.

In this way, the student authors are given ideas from which to create their OWN story content.
