Description
As an experience dance teacher, teachers are always asking me how I teach dance in my classroom and how I get the students so involved in dance. I created this resource to fill a need for fun, engaging dance activities that can be used in the classroom. No dance experience is needed to use this resource to make dance fun and engaging for your students. They can be used for students in JK right up to Grade 6. Included are 13 different themes with 10 cards each for a total of 130 cards! (as well as instructions and reminders). These tasks can be used by the teacher as a guided warm-up with the whole class or set out as stations/task cards for students to do independently or in a group. Creative Dance is intended to get the students moving, exploring dance, and using their own imagination.
