This is a great activity to begin a creative writing unit!

Have students think of one word to place in the middle bubble. Then provide students a few minutes to write/draw/symbolize any other words or sentences that come to mind when thinking of the word in the middle. Encourage students to write whatever comes to mind, not focusing on spelling or grammar.

Students can even draw a picture of themselves "thinking" in the space below the middle bubble!!
