Description

When we teach creative writing, the very first challenge is to create story prompts that kids can relate to. What better way to jump start creativity than by providing an image that students can interact with!!!!

Each worksheet has an image and a box to work out the five crucial story elements: character, setting, theme, plot and conflict. The three different images allow for flexibility in delivery. Individual assignments, group work, pair work... Also, I have included a larger image for smart board projection!

I like to use the photos themselves as bell ringers in the form of journal prompts or conversation starters. Stock Photos
