Description

Spark creativity with this set of engaging, digital story starter writing prompts. Includes 35 unique story starters to inspire your secondary students and help them flex those creative writing muscles!

These prompts are ideal for displaying in class and/or sharing with students digitally.

INCLUDES:

  • PDF version
  • Google Slides version
  • Google Slides version with embedded 10-minute timer

DIGITAL SHARING IDEAS:

  • Post the PDF or Google Slides file in Google Classroom (or your LMS of choice) and let students choose which prompt to respond to. Students can respond to the prompt in a Google Doc or digital notebook.
  • Link to the PDF or Google Slides file on a digital choice board or daily agenda slide. Make sure to get the “Shareable Link” and set it to “Anyone with the link can view.”
  • Pick a specific prompt and save that slide as an image (File --> Download --> PNG Image) . Share the image on your LMS, or insert the image at the top of a Google Doc and have students respond below.
