Description
This is a good creative writing exercise which could take up several lessons and become a project covering a longer period of time!
Tips:
*Choose a piece of instrumental music so as to not influence the students with any lyrics
*Choose a "neutral" piece of instrumental music, not folk music (which could sway them to jot down a specific place in the world)
*The music I always use is from the movie"Dorian Gray" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4Umh-intCQ)
*Have the students write multiple drafts of their stories + give feedback to their rough drafts
*Have the students illustrate the final and clean draft as well
