First read the suspenseful story, "Creepy Crayon," and then have students dive into planning their strategy for containing the mischievous crayon character by using this Design Worksheet. Have students work either along or in pairs. Students will then use linking cubes or other materials provided by you to design and build their custom crayon trap.
