Description
Make teaching the NGSS Crosscutting Concepts engaging and meaningful with this interactive Crack the Code station activity!
Students rotate through 8 stations and apply the Crosscutting Concepts to real-world science phenomena, graphs, models, tables, and photographs. At each station, students answer three multiple-choice questions. Once their answers are correct, they earn a secret code that unlocks a letter. After completing all eight stations, students decode the final mystery word.
Unlike simple matching activities, this resource requires students to apply the Crosscutting Concepts as they analyze evidence, interpret models, identify patterns, explain cause-and-effect relationships, and evaluate changes in natural systems.
