This activity allows the student to encode his or her personal message to another student in the class. They can exchange and decode the messages using inverse matrices and multiplication of matrices. Students will have to find the inverse matrix of a two by two by hand as well as multiply matrices together. This activity allows students to work both independently and with a partner. It also enables to students to think critically and creatively through the study of matrices.
