But, that's hard to cultivate in a classroom of 20 kids or even in your home with a couple kids. It's hard because you've had a long day. You need a moment to breathe and constant questions can feel like a personal attack on your own intelligence.
So, we have some solutions for you, because we don't want you to feel overwhelmed. We want you to enjoy and love these questions.
First, whenever possible use the response "I don't know, let's find out together." Admitting you don't know everything will be a relief to your Mainstreamers, and "finding out together" gives you quality time. Their asking questions because not only are kids naturally curious, but they just want some time with you!
