Use this packet so that your students can practice their research skills! Students choose an event from the world news since Jan. 1, 2020, and research the event. You can also choose to limit this to a specific country/region. They examine various sources and analyze which are the most/least trustworthy.

Optional extension: Have students create a one-slide presentation with a short summary of the event and their most/least trustworthy sources with an explanation for each.
