Description
Welcome!
Have you ever wanted a grade-level appropriate alphabet to hang up in your classroom that could actually be used? Then this resource is for you! I have created an alphabet that is not only an introduction to writing in cursive, but also a set of math key words that the students can reference throughout the year!
Each Page Includes:
- An uppercase and lowercase letter in cursive (letters Aa-Zz are included)
- A 3rd grade math "keyword" written in cursive
- The definition of the keyword (The definitions are not in cursive because in our county when students enter 3rd grade they are not yet able to read cursive. The keyword is used in the definition and is underlined so that students can compare the cursive version to the print version.)
- A diagram, picture, or example of the keyword on that page.
These can be printed (and backed if preferred) and laminated before hanging up in your classroom!
Key Words Include:
Array
Bar Graph
Congruent
Denominator
Equivalent
Factor
Greater Than
Hexagon
Irregular Polygon
Justify
Kilogram
Less Than
Mass
Numerator
Octagon
Polygon
Quotient
Right Angle
