Description

In this project, students will create a Cursive Name "Map". They will write their name several times across their paper in different orientations, creating a "map" they will then color the shapes created from their map following the 4 color theorem- which says that you can fill in any map with only 4 colors and have no adjacent colors touching. In this lesson, I have included a slide presentation with directions, a worksheet for students to practice writing their name, and a rubric for the project. This project created so many exciting results and my students were surprised by how cool using cursive in their artwork could be!
