Cursive Practice Pages
Please see the preview
These pages use the Zaner-Bloser handwriting style. They can be used in alphabetical order, or in shape order. I use the teaching order that allows students to begin writing words on the second day. Since using this I have seen more students begin using cursive on their assignments, even when it wasn’t required. They’re excited to use this beautiful way of writing; and their penmanship shows it.
This set has three sections:
1. Alphabetical order. I use this when we need to review a letter.
2.Teaching order, with a "new words" page after every 2 letters. This builds on new letters and reviews those already learned.
3. Capital letters. I teach these last, since they are the least used in writing. I make the exception for capital I, since I personally loathe seeing personal narratives packed with lower case I’s.
Please note: There are about 70 pages of unique content, and an additional 26 pages repeated in the ABC order section for ease of use.
Updates
Sept. 2, 2019 I fixed the "Cat" page that had words not touching the first line.
