Did you know that research proves cursive writing has educational benefits? Kids can still learn cursive writing with this self-directed instructional guide, even if it's not in your district's curriculum.
Why use Cursive Writing: A Self-Directed Instructional Guide Complete Bundle: Research proves that when children write in cursive, it's good for their brain! Studies show cursive helps children with the flow of thoughts, motor control, retaining information, focusing on content, and even helps them become better spellers! (Google it, it's true!) Since many districts have dropped cursive writing instruction, here's a chance to let them learn it independently!
How it works: This bundle has four levels of cursive writing instruction on the lower case letters, instruction on the capital letters, and sentence writing practice using all levels of instruction. Level one covers the letters that start by coming to a point: i, t, j, p, u, r, s, and w. Level two covers the letters that start by looping back: b, e, l, f, h, and k. Level three covers the letters that start with an overhead circle: o, a, c, d, g, and q. Level four covers the letters that start by going up and down: m, n, v, x, y, and z. Level 5 covers the capital letters, and Level 6 gives practice with sentences for every letter of the alphabet.
What’s included: Each letter has an instruction page at every level. There are also several reference pages for the children, including Why Learn Cursive Writing?, Things to Check for, Cursive is on a Slant, Proper Posture for Cursive Writing, and the vocabulary needed to learn cursive.
