Description

Customary measurement math sub plans focus on converting measurements with length, capacity, and weight measurement activities. Sub plans start with a warmup with a choice of 3 sets of digital task cards with about 12 questions on each. Next, they complete the escape room challenge with cooking type(capacity) conversion questions. With both activities, students can only proceed when each question is correct. Still time, have fun with the customary measurement word search that uses the most frequently used terms with this concept. Quick advanced prep can be done at any time by printing papers ahead of time and having the digital activities saved as a draft that is ready to upload at any time. All directions on the digital activities are easy to follow. Fun, educational, and engaging!

*Students need to know how to do conversions with whole numbers and fractions*

Sub Plans

1. Digital task cards (3 versions to choose from - 38 questions in all)

2. Capacity Escape Room Fun (Digital activity - 22 questions in all)

3. Customary Measurement Word Search - 21 words

Plenty to do...be ready to have students say they need more time the next day to continue with these activities!
