Description
This set of 5th or 6th grade math binder notes provides an organized set of notes and practice problems for customary unit conversions. Students are given the unit conversions for length, capacity, and weight at the top of the front side. The rest of the sheet includes 18 practice problems for further guided or independent practice.
Now includes additional pages, in case you would like to teach length, capacity, and weight as separate lessons.
Note: Unlike most of my guided notes, I decided not to include the steps for solving these problems. Since there are different methods for solving, I didn't want to lock you into any one particular method. This sheet provides the tools needed and an organized set of practice for you to guide your students through the process using the method of your choice.
This assignment works great to guide direct instruction, in a small group center, intervention group, or as an independent class work.
