G = general feel of the classroom?

R = rigor: what are the academic exectations in the lesson?

E = evaluation: how did the students perform in the lesson?

A = actions that lead to student achievement?

T = things to keep for future lessons?

We believe that teachers will welcome more obserations if we take out the stress. If we know that we're not being judged for our weaknesses and instead admired for our strengths, we're much more likely to hear and implement our new feedback.
