Description
This digital diary in Google Slides™ is a great way for students to share about their day through typed responses. It can be used at home or at school! Having children write/type in a diary each day is an effective way for them to reflect about daily happenings while engaging in the writing process. This makes a wonderful activity for the summer time too! If you would rather have a digital journal, click HERE.
This resource for Google Drive™ comes as 9 different slides. However, the slides are intended to be duplicated as many times as needed.
Slide 1: Cover page (students add their name)
Slide 2: Directions for duplicating slides
Slide 3: Example of completed diary entries that shows parts of a friendly letter (salutation, body, closing, & signature)
Slides 4-9: Diary template (2 entries per page): 6 different letter closings and colors
Can be used on Chromebooks, laptops, computers or iPads!
This product comes as a link in a PDF file. First, make sure you are signed into your Google account. Click on the link and you will be prompted to "Make a Copy". Rename the file to whatever you would like. The presentation will be sent directly to your Drive! Disperse to your students via Google Classroom™, Google Drive™ Shared folder, your Learning Platform, etc..
