This is a fun and engaging way to help students learn about how scientists are trying to improve the human genome. Great for supplemental material, a sub day, or distance learning.

This video guide created for the fifth episode entitled Pandora's box of the PBS documentary series DNA. This documentary describes how scientists are trying to improve the human genome and remove genetic disorders. It also goes over the pros and cons of practices such as eugenics, genetic engineering, and other controversial topics.

The last question is asks students write at least a paragraph explaining how the documentary relates to what they have been studying in class. This question can be used as an exit ticket during class or as homework.
