Having a hard time keeping your sight word flashcards organized? Need simple flashcards that don't require color ink for printing? No problem! This huge set of Dolch word flashcards are color coded for easy organization and were arranged in 3 x 5 grids (15 cards per page) to reduce the amount of paper and cutting required to make an entire classroom set. This comprehensive resource include these Dolch lists: Pre-Primer, Primer, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, Dolch Nouns, Dolch Phrases. To promote mastery and prevent fatigue, the Dolch Nouns and Dolch Phrases lists were broken into 2-3 different flashcard sets.
There are two different options for printing:
- Option #1: Blacklines - print onto color cardstock in whatever colors you want!
- Option #2: Color ink - print on white cardstock. This set is already color-coded for you :)
Bonus! Both printing options include a color coding "cheat sheet" so you can attach to task card boxes, manila envelopes, or whatever container you use to store the cards.
These sight word flashcards have so many potential uses:
- Display with document camera during whole group instruction
- Pair with my store's "Print & Go" Dolch Word Games for use during guided reading, RTI, and/or MTSS small group instruction
- Send home for additional practice
- Keep "early finishers" occupied
- Drop down to Pre-Primer or Primer to differentiate activities for struggling learners
- Use the Dolch Nouns and Dolch phrases sets to provide enrichment for advanced learners
This resource can be used as a stand-alone, but is actually part of my store's Dolch Sight Words Intervention System. The bundle includes:
- Dolch "Print 'n Go" Games that are low prep and easy to play; the flashcards fit exactly on all the gameboards.
- Dolch Assessments that have a running record format that's perfect for progress monitoring Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention groups. There is a separate assessment for all of the Dolch levels included in the flashcard pack, including Dolch Nouns and Dolch Phrases.
