Description
This Daily Fluency Booster BUNDLE is intended for Beginning Readers. The activities are designed for students to practice applying the different components of fluency to their reading: Pace, Phrasing, Punctuation, Expression, & Accuracy.
The activities in each resource are Common Core (RF.4) aligned and aim to reinforce specific oral reading fluency skills, as well as visual discrimination and self-monitoring.
This bundle of resources includes easy-to-use and effective “fluency boosters” and may be used as a follow-up to Fluency Boot Camp. It is also perfect for introducing the accuracy “Fast Finisher” activities that are included in my Daily Fluency monthly packs; however, you do not need to use them with the Fluency Boot Camp or Daily Fluency, as they can easily serve as independent skill review pages for each fluency skill.
NOTE: It is important to teach each component of fluency before having your students complete these booster activities!
Have students complete the activity sheets for morning work, literacy centers, or as independent activity sheets. Students can complete the activities independently, in partners, or as a whole group (using a SMARTBoard or projector). You can print & laminate each page for students to re-use w/dry-erase markers… or you can print & copy them for students to write on and keep. It’s 100% up to you!
