I posted these pages on the bulletin board in my classroom with the calendar. The sheets are inside sheet protectors so that I can write on them with a dry erase marker. First we solve the problem of the day. We use the answer as our number of the day. We show this number in the several templates provided. Once my students build an understanding of the routine, I designate a weekly math wizard to complete the forms independently and present his/her findings to the class. Practice templates include: Problem of the Day, Place Value, Expanded Form, Word Form, Draw/Tally, 1/5/10 more, 1/5/10 less, and represent value in money.
